SSA Myths

1. I’ve struggled with SSA my entire life I must be Gay so there isn’t anything I can do.
2. You can’t live a frum life if you have SSA
3. You can “pray away the gay”
4. SSA never goes away so there is no point in trying
5. I’ll never get married if I have SSA?
6. The Torah forbids homosexuality so I am a bad person
7. No one will understand so I might as well keep it to myself
8. I’ve heard bad things about conversion therapy so any sort of work with addressing unwanted SSA is bad.

These are just a some of the myths about SSA. There is much more hope and help than you know. The hardest part is taking the steps to know that you are not alone!
